The biggest frustration network marketers face is the resistance they receive from people they prospect about their opportunity.

Ever got any?

When they’re done with friends and family, they move on to prospect others they meet, for their mlm business.

“It’s a numbers game” – they’re being told by upline leaders. “The ones who see more people, make the most money”

True, BUT do you really have enough mental toughness to go through all that rejection to find one person that will be star in your network marketing business? (And even if you do, why waste all that energy?)

You see most people are NOT pre-disposed to your message. That doesn’t mean your market is small. It’s huge, but it’s maybe 5 out of a 100 people (or less). That’s still millions of people, so the market isn’t the problem. It’s the marketing that’s the problem.

Let me give you a classic example from a legendary marketer, who once asked a question at a seminar – “If I’m selling steaks, what one thing would I need to be successful, and only one thing?”

What Multi-Level/Network Marketing Really Is And How Should It Be Worked?

Multi-level marketing is really a partnership.  You go into business with someone that has the same interests and goals you have.   You make a commitment to each other.  You work with the same people.  Working multi-level marketing correctly not only makes success easier, it eliminates many problems.

The hardest thing is to find the person you want to work with (your sponsor).  You want someone who is willing to work and assist you when needed.

Many people complain about others stealing their people.  They seem to think that just because they signed someone up once, they should always have them.  If someone gives their downline the help and assistance they should, there would be no need for them to worry about someone stealing them away.  They should want to continue with you because they know you will help them.  Why should someone stick with you  if all you do is collected commissions from them?  Can you really blame them for not following you into other programs?

Take a look at the other side of the “coin”.  Having the right people in your downline is just as important as having the right sponsor.  If someone sponsored you into a program and helped you, don’t expect them to sign you in another program if you haven’t tried to do anything on you own.  Granted, they make money for those they sponsor for you, but why should they make you money if you don’t do anything?

50 Ways To Make More Money In Network Marketing!

1. Use your products regularly.

2. Make a total commitment to your program for at least one year.

3. Sell yourself first, then the products and the marketing plan. (People buy you and not your company.)

4. Spend 90%  doing the things that make your business grow and put money in your pocket, delegate everything else, or at least don’t spend all your time doing it.

5. Treat your business like a business, and not a hobby.

6. Let everyone know what business you are in. Advertise and market your business.

7. Make “understanding people” more important that product knowledge. Even online you’re still dealing with people and not robots.

8. Duplicate yourself by making distributors independent of you. (This is where having a proven system that is easily duplicable is a MUST!)

9. Motivate your group monthly by offering money, travel, recognition and other rewards for specific achievements.

10. Praise your distributor’s accomplishments. (People will do extraordinary things for just a little recognition, because most adults are deprived of it.)

11. Mingle with top distributors and ask how they made it. (Success leaves clues)

12. Be persistent - only of the people that look at your business may get serious about the business or be interested in your products. (Let your marketing do the sorting for you)

13. Lead by example.

14. Keep it simple: do things others can easily duplicate and copy.

The Old Ways Of Recruiting Are Going Away!

If you’ve been around the network marketing industry in the 90’s or before, then you know that most companies have urded their distributors to prospect using the “tried and true” methods, such as:

  • making a list of your warm market
  • inviting people to meetings
  • using the 3 foot rule in prospecting daily
  • in home parties
  • and every other possible method you could imagine, using what I call “manual labor”

With today’s technology it’s not necessary to spend all this time trying to “get” people to look at your business.

These methods once worked, back in the 80’s and 90’s but if your company is still teaching to you go out there and prospect, then you have to be honest and ask yourself - “how’s it going?”

I know the answer, because I’ve done it for over 10 years, with lots of persistance and enthusiasm.

Where these companies are making a mistake, is not teaching people about using PROVEN direct marketing methods to ATTRACT people that are looking for your opportunity.
